Shanghai's Biggest Silver Palace Booth Yet
From July 10–12, 2026, Silver Palace dominated Bilibili World (BW2026) with a Victorian church-themed pavilion featuring ~40 high-spec PC demo stations, Silverium Pegasus photo ops, and crowds of Alf and Red Rose cosplayers. Elementa also ran a Bailian ZX pop-up in downtown Shanghai for fans seeking merchandise and secondary demo access outside the Expo hall. Elementa's demo was among the most queued experiences at the convention—matching or exceeding attendance at established live-service titles according to on-site reports from 3DM, Sohu Game, Fami通, 4Gamer, and Inven Global.
The curated 15-minute demo differs from full Dichotomy Beta access (registration closed July 16) but showcases July 2026 combat refinements, new prologue content, and debut playable partners Supervisor Rex and Red Rose.
Demo Structure
Boss 1 — Vita et Mors (Life and Death)
The demo opens at a royal medal ceremony where the prologue boss Vita et Mors attacks the Queen's court. Fami通 describes the entity as silver liquid coalescing into a massive black-and-white dual-bodied humanoid—its two halves alternate attack patterns, teaching dodge-versus-parry decisions as Detective abilities spread as AoE requiring evasion alongside yellow-circle parries. Full strategy on our Vita et Mors boss guide.
City Exploration Interval
Between boss phases, players ride horses through Paris-inspired streets, clear mob patrols, and fight a mounted knight mid-boss with charge and sweep patterns testing the refined parry system.
Boss 2 — Cinderella (Demo-Tuned)
The demo concludes with the iconic burning train sequence awakening into a Cinderella boss fight. Developers intentionally lowered difficulty for floor accessibility—full Dichotomy Beta retains higher challenge. Rapid parryable/unparryable pattern alternation demonstrates either-or combat depth.
Major Combat Changes vs Monotype
- Split dodge & parry: Previously combined inputs now separate—Shift dodges red-circle attacks, Right Mouse parries yellow-circle attacks.
- Skill on E: Combat skill moved from right-click to E; guard/parry consolidated on right-click.
- Third-person camera: Pulled back from over-shoulder for better telegraph visibility in large boss arenas.
- Extended parry window: Fami通 confirms noticeably longer judgment time from yellow telegraph to hit reaction versus Monotype builds.
- Execution improvements: Finisher damage and lock-on range increased; prompts more prominent with flashier effects per Fami通 and 4Gamer hands-on.
- UI relocation: Party HUD moved from screen right to bottom-left; numbered character icons clarify tag-skill ambush triggers.
- Faster combat rhythm: Enemies feel less "tanky" with snappier pacing—4Gamer praised counter-and-parry builds funneling defensive success into burst gauges.

Playable Characters at BW2026
Four units were available: Detective protagonist, Cinderella, Rex, and Red Rose. Rex demonstrated Glacies parry-integrated pressure; Red Rose showcased flamenco dance combat with six-slot gauge E-skill bursts. Convention exclusives included investigation file bags, character data cards, and film-strip bookmarks for completing the demo.
Story Teasers
Demo prologue hints at the detective siblings' backstory: the Vita et Mors incident at the Queen's ceremony kills one sibling—the survivor becomes the player protagonist. Nobles opposed to Silverium's revolutionary energy orchestrated the attack. Fragmented "sibling route" story beats appeared throughout the demo per Chinese press coverage.
Press Reception
Fami通's hands-on report highlights Silver Palace as among the most memorable anime-style action titles at BW2026, praising execution prompt clarity and parry window extensions. 4Gamer emphasizes the unique blend of photorealistic European urban environments with stylized anime character combat—horseback and Pegasus exploration punctuating intense parry-dodge encounters. Both outlets confirm the July control and UI overhaul represents substantive improvement over January's Monotype Beta.
